This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing cancellations, refunds, and rental terminations at Storage Solutions Plus (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
By reserving or renting a storage unit, you agree to the terms below.
1. Reservation Cancellations
Customers may cancel a reservation prior to move-in.
If a payment was made to hold a unit:
- Reservation fees may be refundable if cancellation occurs before move-in and within the specified reservation window.
- Administrative or processing fees may be non-refundable.
Please contact the facility directly to request cancellation.
2. Move-In Cancellations
If you complete your rental agreement but choose not to move in:
- Refund eligibility depends on whether access has been granted.
- Administrative fees are typically non-refundable.
- Any refund will be processed to the original payment method.
3. Month-to-Month Rental Termination
All rentals are month-to-month.
To cancel your storage unit:
- Written or verbal notice must be provided before your next billing date.
- The unit must be completely emptied.
- The lock must be removed.
- The unit must be left in clean condition.
Failure to provide notice may result in continued rental charges.
4. Proration of Rent
Rent is generally not prorated upon move-out unless required by law.
Customers are responsible for the full rental period once payment is processed.
5. Late Payments & Refunds
Payments made after the due date, including late fees, are non-refundable.
If access is restricted due to non-payment, refunds will not be issued for lost access time.
6. Early Move-Out
If you vacate your unit before the end of your paid rental period:
- No partial refunds will be issued.
- Rent covers the full billing cycle.
7. Promotional Rates
Move-in specials and promotional discounts are subject to eligibility requirements.
If a promotion requires a minimum stay and the tenant vacates early:
- Promotional discounts may be forfeited.
- Standard rental rates may apply retroactively where permitted by law.
8. Vehicle Storage Refunds
Vehicle storage cancellations follow the same month-to-month terms.
No refunds will be issued for unused days within a paid billing cycle.
9. Processing Time
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within a reasonable processing period, typically 5–10 business days.
10. Changes to This Policy
Storage Solutions Plus reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated effective date.
